Who our substance use treatment is for
Sun County Wellness treats alcohol, prescription drug, and other substance use in women 18 and older in San Juan Capistrano, in person or virtually. After an assessment, most women start in partial hospitalization (PHP) or intensive outpatient (IOP), then step down to outpatient care, with sober living available.
A good fit if
- You have tried to cut back or stop and keep returning to use.
- Substance use is affecting your health, work, or family.
- You also have anxiety, depression, or trauma. We treat both together.
Start somewhere else if
- You may have dangerous withdrawal from alcohol, benzodiazepines, or opioids. Medically supervised withdrawal care comes first; admissions can talk through that step.
- You are in immediate danger or thinking about ending your life. Call 911 or 988 now, before anything else.
- You are under 18, or you are looking for a co-ed program. Our programs are for women 18 and older.
